Cluster Doily

Hello there,

I finally finished my cluster doily without a single mistake... ok, ok there is one mistake, but its well covered up and you wont be able to figure it out. I've written down instructions too, so have a look and go ahead and make your cluster doily:

Instructions:

  1. Chain 5 and slip stitch (sl st) into the first chain to form a circle.
  2. Chain 2 (this counts as 1 double crochet), 1 dc into the ring. Chain 1, 2 dc in the ring. Continue around. Slip stitch into the center of the first double crochet pair. You should have 6 dc pairs (total of 12 dc stitches) and 6 chain 1 spaces.
  3. Crochet a cluster stitch, chain 1, 1 cluster stitch in the center of the 2 dc stitches. You will have 6 pairs of clusters around.
  4. Crochet a pair of clusters in every stitch at the center of the previous round and in the ch 1 space.
  5. Crochet a pair of clusters in the center of the previous round and crochet 2 dc in the next stitch. That is, between the pair of clusters. Continue around and slip stitch into the center of the 1st cluster pair.
  6. You will now be crocheting cluster pairs in the centers of the previous round and in the center of the 2 dc pairs of the previous round.
  7. Crochet cluster pairs in the centers of the clusters of the previous round. Slip stitch into the center of the 1st cluster pair.
  8. Crochet cluster pairs in the centers and 2 dc stitches and continue around. Slip stitch into the center of the 1st cluster pair.
  9. Crochet 1 cluster, ch 1, 1 cluster in the center and 2 dc in the dc pair of the previous round. Slip stitch into the center of the 1st cluster pair.
  10. Crochet 1 cluster, ch 1, 1 cluster in the center of the cluster of the previous round and 1 cluster, 1 chain, 1 cluster in the center of the 2 dc. Continue around and slip stitch into the center of the 1st cluster pair.
  11. (1 Cluster, 1 ch, 1 cluster), ch 1, (1 Cluster, 1 ch, 1 cluster), ch 1 - continue around.
  12. Same as round 11.
  13. [(1 Cluster, 1 ch, 1 cluster), cluster] - repeat around. Slip stitch into the center of the 1st cluster pair.
  14. Ch 1 (counts as 1dc), 2 tr, 1 dc in the center of the clusters. Continue around in the center of the clusters ONLY. From the 2nd cluster, 1dc, 2 tr, 1 dc around.
Your cluster doily is ready! I've changed colors in between, you could use a single color too.

Happy crocheting!

Love,
Me
